From the moment Ballygrainey Presbyterian Church at Six Road Ends in Bangor decided to extend and refurbish their sanctuary we knew who to go to for our furniture and accessories. In the lead up to this we had visited numerous other churches to see what they had experienced and who they went to. On a lot of occasions their name came up. On our first consultation with them we were made most welcome by John Kirkpatrick. We were able to give John an idea of what we wanted and he was able to show us graphics of other works they had completed. We were then shown into their comprehensive showroom where we saw all sorts of seating arrangements and church related furniture. John was able to advise us on everything from choosing which wood to select, to pew heights, to spacing between rows, to cushion hardness and fabrics. We had ball park prices which when translated to actual quotes was acceptable and within our budget. We are delighted with the finished product and the professional manner in which they worked with ourselves and the builder and keeping within the schedule of works. We would be very happy to recommend CCD to any prospective purchasers.

Woodlands Presbyterian Church have just recently had the 252 chairs in the Sanctuary replaced by McNickle & Son with the Strangford Type chairs, incorporating a bookshelf on the back and a communion cup holder in the top. We went for stacking and non-stacking in a mix of 3 colours and are completely satisfied with the workmanship, quality, price, customer service and supply of the chairs during a very difficult for manufacturers due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We, as a church, have been supplied by this company for various furniture requirements over a period of 44 years and have been delighted with the supply and quality of the work on each occasion.

John Kirkpatrick’s personal attention and expertise enabled us to choose a chair that met our specific requirements in terms of quality of materials, comfort and 'add on' features such as communion cup holders and book racks. As significant supply chain difficulties due to external factors such as Brexit and Covid arose during production John was always upfront about the implications and did everything he could to achieve delivery.
